Stephen Center Celebrates 25th Anniversary in 2009

Stephen Center opened its doors 25 years ago. The organization was founded by Sharon and Dick NcNeil who were determined to focus on the particular needs of the poor in south Omaha. With the help of many friends and volunteers, they opened Stephen Center in a building that had been a former bar with a colorful history. Throughout the year, we will be celebrating our 25th Anniversary of helping those families and individuals that have developed plans to overcome homelessness, addiction and poverty.
