STEPHEN CENTER IN NEED OF HATS, GLOVES AND SOCKS

The Stephen Center is in need of gloves, hats and socks for men, women and children.  Executive Director Del Bomberger said "With the weather turning cold and the downturn in the economy, we have seen a significant increase of need in our community. The shelter has been over capacity for some time now. We need to make sure that everyone has a safe, warm place to stay this holiday season. We also want them to have a happy holiday season.”

With the increase of people staying at the shelter, supplies are also running low for this time of year.   We encourage anyone who is able to consider providing personal items, canned and boxed food items to the shelter for use during the upcoming holidays.  Bomberger said "We know that this is a difficult time for many families and businesses in our community and just request that if you or your business is able to help, it would be very much appreciated."
